This Privacy Policy explains how Grünex (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2025/552829/07) ("Grünex", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our services, including our online advertising platform Koranta (koranta.vercel.app).

1. Information we collect

• Ad & contact details you provide when posting — your name, phone number, optional email, and the content and photos of your ad.
• Account details if you create an account — your email address.
• Usage information — basic data such as ad views and technical data needed to operate the service.
• Payment information — when you pay for a promotion, payment is handled by Paystack. We do not store your full card details.

2. How we use your information

• to publish your ad and let interested buyers contact you;
• to operate, maintain and improve our services;
• to process payments for paid promotions;
• to send you account or transaction emails (such as sign-in links);
• to prevent fraud, abuse and breaches of our Terms.

3. Information that is public

When you post an ad, the details you include — your name, the item, the price and the contact number/email you provide — are publicly visible so that buyers can reach you. Do not include information in an ad that you do not want to be public.

4. Service providers we share data with

We use trusted providers to run our services. They process data only to provide their service:

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage;
• Vercel — website hosting;
• Paystack — payment processing for paid promotions;
• Resend — sending account/login emails.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage for essential functions — for example, to keep you signed in and to let you manage ads you posted without an account from the same device. We do not use advertising trackers.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your ad or account is active and as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. You can delete your ads at any time, and you can ask us to delete your information by emailing us.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting grunex2025@outlook.com.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
